1.Concise – direct to the point, brief.

*Kick = I invite you as a guest speaker.
*Kiss = You're invited as a guest speaker.

2.Clear

*Kick = We shall get in touch with you soon.
*Kiss = We shall get in touch with you in two day's time / tomorrow on Feb 8.

3.Courteous – polite

*Kick = You're not qualified. Please apply in other company.
*Kiss = We're sorry that your qualification has not met our requirements. You may apply next time.

4.Convincing

*Kick = I can come to your office for an interview.
*Kiss = I'm willing to come for an interview at your convenience.

5.Correct

*Kick = The deadline will be on Saturday, June 20, 2008.
*Kiss = The deadline will be on Friday, June 20, 2008.

6.Complete

*Kick = You're invited to a get together.
*Kiss = You're invited to a get together at CITE on June 20 at 8:00 am.

7.Conversational – Friendly tone

*Use personal references
*Use contractions
*Use a “You” approach
*Use direct questions
